Grant for Advocacy Support Received

The great work being done by GVR has recently been recognized by the Department Of Veterans Affairs (DVA), with the Minister awarding us a grant of $48,647.58 to assist us provide Advocacy support to Veterans.

The Building Excellence in Support and Training (BEST) Grant helps us provide our Veterans with information regarding their entitlements following injury while serving in the ADF, assistance with submitting claims pertaining to those injuries and representation in the event that a DVA decision needs to be Reviewed. The funding also assists us support Veterans in well-being related matters in times of personal hardship and crisis.
