Today, Mrs Irene Ham presented a $500 donation to the Goorambat Veterans' Retreat on behalf of the congregation at the Goorambat Uniting Church. The church is still a very relevant part of the Goorambat community and even has its own extraordinary mural located inside. 'Sophia' as she is known, is open to all visitors 7 days and forms part of the local Silo Art Trail. The congregation conducts various fundraising activities throughout the year and then selects a worthy cause to benefit from its annual donation. We are extremely grateful that they have chosen to support our Veteran community this year and their donation will be used to purchase furnishings for one of our family cabins.
