The 27th Intake of Army Apprentices (enlisted 1972) have contributed to veteran's community support with a donation of $5000 to Goorambat Veterans' Retreat from the proceeds of their recent 50th anniversary reunion event in March at Mornington.
The donation, presented on behalf of the 27th Intake by Jeff Ward, was gratefully received by Phil Thomson, chairman of Goorambat Veterans' Retreat.
This donation will be used to help complete veterans emergency accommodation at Goorambat and this contribution will be acknowledged by a small sign or plaque in due course.
