Goorambat's Biggest & Quickest Makeover Yet

Well, it's been more than two years in the making, and our team has worked hard to raise funds necessary to give our 92-year-old building the chance to shine for another 100 years.

On the weekend 18-19th June, we will strip and reclad the whole complex, extending a verandah across the front with the addition of an all-access ramp. This activity will be overseen by builder & supporter, Peter Clarke, assisted by YOU our dedicated volunteer workforce.

We'll be needing at least 8 motivated souls, so if you feel like rolling those sleeves up, pushing a barrow, a broom, swinging a hammer, or even cooking a BBQ, we'd love to have you join us. We'll supply the tucker and the bevvies and we have basic accommodation available for those not bringing their own. We propose to muster around the fire on Friday night, getting into it bright and early on Saturday morning with the majority of the heavy lifting completed by late Sunday arvo. There will be a few of us staying on through Monday to help Peter with the detail required on the ramp.

It's a great opportunity to meet some like-minded Veterans and supporters. We welcome any assistance you can offer us, a few hours to a couple of days if you can. We do ask that you register, for catering & planning purposes. Once registered we will contact you to discuss your requirements for accommodation etc.
